Sigh... I am just so mentally out. I wanna go home but can't go home. Reasons why can't go home:-
1. I have got one Credit Paper to review (I think... the abbreviation is CP... whatever);
2. I have got this whole stack of some what not old agreements to look at and to locate "the needle in the haystack" kind of exercise (yes... I don't know what I am talking about and I don't know how to go about doing it... but nevertheless I still have to do it... somehow..sigh...)
3. I have a letter of support to vet and amend... NOOOOO... we do not issue letter of support but then... we still vet (duh... Dear Lord, please remove this transgression from me... like real... =p)
4. I have a letter of notification to amend... more like drafting it totally. Sigh... and yup... "We do not draft letters such as this. Get them to draft and we will only vet!" Oh well... if the draft which comes to me is a flop... rather lame (I wonder where they learn to draft letters like these... kindie??? I have to spice it up. So... I am using my philosophy for cooking and also when I draft agreements... "This sucks. I might as well draft the whole thing all over again 'coz this sorry excuse of a letter is giving me a headache!"
5. I have got to write this pathetically polite letter to reply to some head to tell him/her gently that whatever someone suggests to amend in the document sucks and is stupid. Dumb!
6. I have got this 1 page agreement to draft. Sigh... I have never drafted a 1 page agreement. The shortest that I have ever done was 15 pages... not including the schedules, signing page and cover (inclusive of all that was,I think... 20 pages long?). I could try to do it in a form of a letter... but the shortest letter form agreement which I had done was... 5 pages long!!???? How leh???? Dear Lord, is this job a mistake!!!???
7. Oh yeah... I have got this Debenture to vet. The "ahem" lawyer (aarggh... I don't know if she's a panel lawyer) amended our standard document and did not do track changes. Can you believe it!!??!!! I have to vet clause by clause... line by line... word by word... oh well... there goes my holiday tomorrow.
Ok... the real reason for staying... my immediate supervisor borrowed my umbrella to go out to buy dinner and she's back now. I can now go home with items 1-7 in my bag. Yar yar... oh well... got to go... enough whining for the day
