I am BACK!!!!

Yes... I am back at last... in case no one notices, my last posting was on, I think 21st May. Sigh... my office decided to bar us from blogging. Many have said to me that they will do it sooner or later 'coz they ban chatting and blogging is to them a kind of chatting. I say... it's some kind of government-support move. Really one... this company, I think... hmmm... ok... better not say otherwise I will be out of job tomorrow or soon.

If you are wondering why the photos of flowers... well, I received these flowers on my first day of work. No, not from my office but from someone close enough to make me feel that I have been "conned" into accepting this job. I felt like the HR personnel who got to choose whether she wants to go to heaven or hell. Know the joke? She chose hell because on the day she went to "view" hell, they were playing golf and all sugar and spice... When she asked the "devil" why the huge difference between the "viewing" day and the day she got "confirmed", the "devil" answered "It was recruitment day then!"

Anyway... it's not that bad here. But I can't help feeling conned. The day I got confirmed was on my birthday, 1 month after my first day. My actual probation period was 3 months. On that day, my immediate supervisor conned me to come into office really early and the whole department surprised me with a birthday celebration. Later on I found out (5 months after) that that was the first time they ever celebrated anyone's birthday. Hmmm... can't help seeing the resemblance between me and the HR personnel in the joke.
