I am coded =P

I am just trying to keep myself awake while reading this 97 pages of guidelines on a certain credit check facility by Bank Negara... just to draft a reply which will probably be not more than 1 page. Sigh...

Anyway... I knew this. I meant, I know this for a fact that we are all listed and defined by codes. I found this rather depressing. I mean... we slogged and we worked just to earn enough... maybe some more than enough and at the end of the day, we are just defined by codes =/

Example :-
Gender
Refers to the gender of the customer. The relevant codes are as follows:
L = Male
P = Female
R = Unknown

FI Code
Refers to the FI Type (2 digit), FI ID (2 digit) and FI Branch (5 digit) of the reporting institution.

Marital Status
Refers to the current marital status of the customer. The relevant codes are as follows:
M = Married
S = Single
D = Divorced
W = Widowed
U = Unknown

Bumi/Non-bumi
Refers to the status of the customer, whether Bumiputera or Non-Bumiputera. The relevant codes are as follows:
1 = Bumi For Malaysian residents, including
2 = Non-bumi permanent residents of Malaysia.
9 = Not applicable - For non-residents only.

Basic Group Code
Refers to the basic group code for the borrower. For individuals, the basic group code is ‘11’.

Resident/Non-Resident
Refers to whether the borrower is a resident or non-resident according to Exchange Control definition. Please refer to Part 7 of this document for the definition. The relevant codes are as follows:
R = Resident
N = Non-resident

and many many more... and just from the above, I am "P, F1xx, S, 2, 11, R"

Pretty pathetic, that's all I can say. But of course... God says we are heirs and co-heirs with Christ i.e. we share in His glory and riches AND not forgeting His sufferings. So, what am I getting at? Don't know... hahaha... "Wu Liau!"

I have been another new task... 4 pages long of micro mini writings of trademark classes. Darn... got to go... actually I better not complain... my colleague got I think at least 11 pages long of those micro mini writings =P
